Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated: 29 September 2026
1. About this policy
Kehja is an online software service operated by Akash Raman, Sole Proprietor. This policy explains how cancellation and refunds work for paid Kehja subscriptions and forms part of our Terms of Service.
Kehja sells digital access to online software. There are no physical goods and nothing is shipped. Access to a paid plan is provided digitally through your Kehja account after successful payment.
2. Cancellation
Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. You may cancel a recurring Kehja subscription at any time, and cancellation prevents the next recurring charge.
Unless otherwise stated, cancelling does not immediately end access you have already paid for. You may continue using your paid plan until the end of the current paid billing period. There is no prorated refund merely because a subscription is cancelled part-way through a billing period.
3. First subscription payment
You may request a refund of your first paid Kehja subscription charge within 7 calendar days of that charge. This applies to the first paid monthly or annual subscription you purchase.
Normal use of Kehja does not affect this refund. We may decline it only where there is clear misuse of this policy, such as:
- repeated subscribe-and-refund behaviour;
- creating multiple accounts to repeatedly claim introductory refunds;
- fraudulent activity; or
- unusually heavy consumption of paid or AI-generated functionality followed by a refund request.
4. Subscription renewals
Recurring renewal charges are normally non-refundable. If you were renewed unintentionally, contact us within 48 hours of the renewal charge. We may refund that renewal where the request is made within 48 hours of the renewal and you have not materially used the paid service since the renewal.
5. Annual subscriptions
The 7-day first-payment refund rule applies to the initial purchase of an annual subscription. After that period, annual subscriptions are non-refundable, except where required by applicable law or where another provision of this policy applies.
6. Duplicate or incorrect charges
Contact us if you believe you were:
- charged more than once for the same transaction;
- charged an incorrect amount;
- charged after a cancellation that should already have taken effect; or
- charged because of an identifiable billing error.
We will investigate, and confirmed duplicate or erroneous charges will be refunded.
7. Partial periods
We do not provide prorated refunds solely because you cancel before the billing period ends, choose not to use the service, or use only part of your subscription period. Access continues through the already-paid period unless the account is terminated for another valid reason under our Terms of Service.
8. How refunds are paid
Approved refunds are normally returned to the original payment method used for the transaction. The time for the refunded amount to appear varies depending on the payment method, payment gateway, issuing bank, card network or UPI/payment provider.
9. Your consumer rights
Nothing in this policy limits any refund, cancellation or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded under the laws applicable to you.
10. Contact
For refund requests, cancellations and billing questions, email hello@kehja.com from the email address on your Kehja account, with the date and amount of the charge.
